Burning is Open
As of May 10th, Idaho Department of Lands (IDL) requires residents
living outside of city limits to obtain a burn permit
prior to starting controlled burn activities.
Permits are also required for burning of slash piles or field burning.
In addition, Timberlake Fire Burn Regulations are required
to be on-site while burning year-around.
Timberlake Fire supports the IDL permit process.
To obtain a permit, visit http://www.burnpermits.idaho.gov
or call the supervisory area office at
208-769-1577 (Kootenai Co.) or 208-263-5104 (Bonner Co.).
